About Me
I’m a copy editor and story coach, passionate about personal growth and people’s stories. I help my clients articulate who they are, what they do, and why.
My story
For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved to express myself creatively, and as a performer I used to connect with my audiences through my voice and my words. Driven by a desire to understand myself better, I would create short autobiographical pieces, telling my own stories and always discovering something in the process.

I’m endlessly curious about others too. Ask any of my friends and family and they will tell you I am someone who likes to ask questions! Eternally fascinated by what makes people tick, this curiosity has led to a love of deep conversation and interviewing. I love to listen, learn and understand – then put the essence of something or someone into words as beautifully as I can.
This same drive has also led me to explore different approaches to health and happiness, including various spiritual paths, practices and forms of therapy. I’ve had several years of weekly one-to-one therapy and also have training and experience in counselling through the expressive arts.

I now specialise in supporting creatives, coaches, therapists, bodyworkers, teachers and health practitioners to express themselves more effectively and more authentically through their written content.
Whether that be through their web copy, blogs or books, I help my clients tell their stories through clear, coherent, concise and compelling copy that communicates exactly who they are and what they do.
Creds, qualities and quirks!
In 2017, I formally trained and qualified as a certified proofreader and copy editor with Chapterhouse Publishing and set up my own business in the same year. And that’s how I ended up here! I’m a lifelong lover of words, with an eagle eye for detail and quality. Feedback plays an important part too, but it needs to be constructive. I value honesty and kindness and find these serve me well in my communications with clients.
It has also been rather amusing to realise that some of my most exasperating eccentricities – perfectionism, pedantry and nit-picking – might actually have some use in the world!
Hear from a happy client …
“Tracy spent time with me at the beginning to understand me, my brand and my clients. She quickly ‘got inside my head’ and was able to pick up my brand values and tone of voice to help me build trust with my target clients through the advert. Tracy kept me updated for the duration of the project so I did not have to worry about the deadlines etc. I would absolutely recommend Tracy and I will definitely be working with her on the rest of my business copy.”
~ Adele Martin, Founder of the Menopause Resilience Club.
I look forward to hearing from you!
