I asked Tracy to proofread and copy edit the main description for my mobile app, prior to publication. The copy was only two pages long but given the app is one of the main ‘faces’ of my business, it felt really important to get it 100% right. Tracy has been working with us for three months now, copy writing and editing for our Viennese school of psychotherapy, which has recently come to London. Tracy took on a sizeable assignment for me – to proofread and edit my entire ‘Intimacy Matters’ website – a total of about 58 web pages with extensive written content. She did a very thorough job and helped in all sorts of ways I hadn’t expected. Not only did she deal with typos and erroneous punctuation and capitalisation, but she also flagged up lots of duplication and inconsistencies between sections, and made many good suggestions for how I could restructure and streamline the whole site.

I liked the way Tracy delivered the work: making all minor corrections direct to the site, while sending me her updates and questions via voice memos. This saved me the trouble of having to trawl through endless minor corrections and written notes. Her feedback was always honest but not judgemental. I also appreciated how Tracy highlighted any sections that she thought could be misinterpreted and suggested alternative wording to make sure my meaning was always clear. In my particular line of work this is especially important. I explained to Tracy at the outset what my intentions were for the site and she did her best to make sure the content always reflected that.

Now the website is finished I’ve got her editing my PowerPoint presentations and newsletters too! I have used editors and proofreaders before but Tracy’s methodology, style and professional approach were refreshing and productive. I highly recommend her to others.
