One of my tasks as a copy editor is to iron out any inconsistencies in the text. These are very common! When creating high-quality written content, it is extremely important to double-check you are being consistent – not just in your meaning but also in your spellings, punctuation, capitalisation, formatting, spacing, style, fonts, alignment, layout, numbering, quotations and tone of voice.
